2nd ANNUAL RIVERSIDE TRIATHLON

Reverse Sprint Triathlon 

             The RIVERSIDE TRIATHLON is a triathlon race in benefit of the Riverside Police Foundation, promoting youth programs and community outreach by instilling the values of Integrity, Service, and Excellence.

            This Reverse Sprint Triathlon is the PERFECT EVENT FOR ALL: challenged athlete, adult, youth, teams –  experienced or beginner. The event takes place at the historic and newly renovated Bobby Bonds Sports Park.

           POLICE CONTROLLED COURSE:   The competition starts with a 5K run down Victoria Avenue to the prestigious Victoria Country Club and back to Bobby Bonds Park.   Athletes then transition to a 12-mile bike ride along one of Riverside’s renowned citrus-lined boulevards and back. The event finishes with 150 meter swim in the Bobby Bonds Olympic-sized pool where you will receive a Finisher Medal!

           CHIP TIMING with splits will be utilized. 

         MEDALS:  All finishers will receive a medal.  1st, 2nd and 3rd PLACE MEDALS will be awarded in the following categories:  Male Overall, Female Overall, Relay Team, 12 & under M/F, 13-17 M/F, 18-24 M/F, 25-29 M/F, 30-34 M/F, 35-39 M/F, 40-44 M/F, 45-49 M/F, 50-54 M/F, 55-59 M/F, 60-64 M/F, 65-69 M/F, 70-74 M/F, 75-79 M/F, 80-84 M/F, 85-89 M/F.

        CHALLENGE CUP:  Perpetual trophies for the categories of PUBLIC SAFETY CHALLENGE and CLUB CHALLENGE.  (Based on a point system.)
